Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra withdrew their petition from the Bombay High Court. They had sought permission to travel abroad through this petition. The couple had approached the court requesting clearance to undertake international travel for professional commitments.
The duo faces allegations of cheating a businessman out of ₹60 crore. Following this, Mumbai Police’s EOW issued lookout circulars against them. The court rejected their plea to quash the LOCs earlier. They must deposit ₹60 crore before leaving the country, the court ruled. In light of this directive, the couple decided to withdraw their petition.
