India qualified as hosts, while Pakistan and Bangladesh had to get through via a qualifier. Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and England made it through via the ICC Women’s ODI championship.

Women’s World Cup 2025 format
The Women’s World Cup 2025 format sees 8 teams face other once in a round robin format. Qualification is rather straight forward- Top 4 after the league stage make it to the semifinals. Each win counts for 2 points, while a tie or a rain abandoned match would see points shared one apiece. In case of equal points, NRR will be the differentiator.
