The upcoming Telugu film Raju Weds Rambai is creating strong buzz ahead of its grand theatrical release on November 21. The movie, starring Akhil and Tejaswini Rao in lead roles, is presented by ETV Win Originals Production and produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi under the banners Dolamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoons Tales, with Dr. Nageswara Rao Pujari presenting it. The film is directed by Saailu Kampati and will be released under Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vas Works.
At the release date announcement event held in Hyderabad, producer Bunny Vas shared his admiration for the film, saying, “Raju Weds Rambai truly touched my heart. It’s based on a real story filled with deep emotion. Akhil and Tejaswini gave excellent performances, and the audience will definitely walk out with a heavy heart and full of emotion.” He also appreciated actor Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, calling his performance “career-defining.”
Actor Chaitu Jonnalagadda described the film as a “pure Telangana story” that beautifully captures the culture, language, and lifestyle of the region. “It blends both emotion and entertainment, making it relatable to everyone,” he added.
Director Saailu Kampati shared his personal journey with the story, revealing, “I’ve carried this story since 2016. When I narrated it, Venu Udugula immediately said yes. With the support of ETV Win, this dream became a reality. The music by Suresh Bobbili elevated the film’s soul.”
Music director Suresh Bobbili thanked the team for trusting him with such a powerful story and promised to speak more about the music at the pre-release event.
Producer Venu Udugula, known for his strong storytelling, said, “Raju Weds Rambai is based on a true incident that happened between Khammam and Warangal. It’s a tragic yet beautiful love story.
