Putting an end to all the buzz and speculation, Rocking Star Yash’s highly awaited film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will hit theatres worldwide on March 19, 2026, exactly as planned. Despite strong rumours hinting at a delay, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh reached out to the team for clarification and confirmed through social media that Toxic is right on track for its original release date.
The team behind Toxic has assured fans that post-production and VFX work have been progressing smoothly since April, even as Yash began shooting for Ramayana in Mumbai. The final schedule of Toxic is currently underway in Bangalore, and the makers are gearing up for massive promotions starting January 2026.
Backing the update, KVN Productions, one of the film’s producers, shared an exciting countdown post on X (formerly Twitter):
> “140 days to go…
His Untamed Presence,
Is Your Existential Crisis.
#ToxicTheMovie releases worldwide on 19-03-2026.”
The release date strategically lands during a festive weekend, coinciding with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and other regional New Year celebrations, followed closely by Eid, creating a powerful box-office window.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is being shot simultaneously in English and Kannada, and will also release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages. The film marks Yash’s grand return to the big screen after KGF, and the excitement around his next big cinematic outing continues to skyrocket.
Jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups promises a global theatrical explosion this March.
