OTT: Netflix eyes Hyderabad as next expansion hub after Mumbai

Global streaming giant Netflix is all set to expand its operations in Hyderabad. The popular OTT platform has reportedly leased a 41,000-square-foot office space at CapitaLand ITPH Block A in Hitech City, the same office property that also houses the Warner Bros. Discovery office.
Netflix’s Hyderabad facility marks the streaming company’s second office after its India debut in Mumbai. This landmark move is expected to boost Netflix’s creative endeavors in Telugu and other South Indian languages. Netflix India has been associating with several top Tollywood stars and banners, acquiring big-ticket films for exclusive streaming.
Last year and earlier this year, several Tollywood celebrities met with Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, SS Rajamouli, Naga Chaitanya, Rana Daggubati, Dulquer Salmaan, Naga Vamsi, and others held discussions with Ted Sarandos.
