Telangana Govt Sets Up Committee for Prestigious Telangana Television Awards 2024

The Government of Telangana has taken a major step to honour creative excellence in the television industry by forming a special committee for the Telangana Television Awards 2024. This new initiative aims to celebrate outstanding talent, creativity, and innovation in Telugu television.
A 15-member high-level committee has been constituted to design the award structure, rules, and even the official logo. Renowned film producer Sharrath Marar has been appointed as the Chairman, while the Managing Director of TGFDC will act as the Convener. The committee also includes prominent television personalities such as K. Baipneedu, Manjula Naidu, and P. Kiran, among others.
The panel has been entrusted with creating a fair, transparent, and inclusive framework for the awards, ensuring every deserving artist and technician receives recognition. The Telangana Television Awards 2024 will spotlight excellence in storytelling, technical skill, and on-screen performance across various categories.
Speaking on the occasion, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that Telangana is fast becoming a hub for film and television talent. He stated that these awards will provide a credible and prestigious platform to honour creative minds and strengthen the entertainment ecosystem.
Officials added that the awards will play a vital role in boosting the morale of industry professionals and inspiring new talent to explore innovative ideas. The Telangana Government’s latest move reinforces its commitment to nurturing and empowering the growing film and television community in the state.
