Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat first. Speaking on the toss, Dasun Shanaka said, âUsed wicket, so we would like to bat first. Three games have been played on this. We didnât have dew in the last game, so I expect the pitch to stay the same throughout the game. Three changes, Viyaskanth is making his debut. Liyanage and Kamil Mishara are in as well.â
Meanwhile, Salman Agha said, âWe actually wanted to bat first. Wanted to put an above-par score and try to restrict them. But it doesnât matter now. We have played six games here. Itâs usually a high-scoring venue.â
âOne change, Shaheen is not playing unfortunately, and Wasim replaces him. Itâa not been a typical Pindi pitch, so itâs hard to tell (a good total), but we will try to restrict them to as less as possible,â added Salman Agha.
