Sankranthi Ticket Hike for only Biggies?

A total number of five Telugu films will compete during the Sankranthi holiday season in January 2026. Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, Prabhas’ Raja Saab, Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju and Sharwanand’s Naari Naari Naduma Murari are releasing during the season. Among these, Raja Saab and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu are the biggies of the season. The makers of Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, Anaganaga Oka Raju and Naari Naari Naduma Murari have decided to stay away from ticket hikes. They will release across the Telugu states with regular ticket pricing and there won’t be any ticket hike.
For Raja Saab and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, the makers have started talks and will apply for ticket hikes. In Andhra Pradesh, the government is not much bothered to issue a GO for the biggies. In Telangana, there is a lot of confusion about the ticket hike. The teams of Raja Saab and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu will have to work hard to get the hike in Telangana. For now, Raja Saab and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu will release with ticket hikes and the other three releases will have no ticket hikes during the Sankranthi season.
