Shambhala: Can paid premieres give Aadi Saikumar’s film an edge?

Mystical thriller Shambhala, starring Aadi Saikumar, is set to hit the big screens tomorrow. Directed by Ugandhar Muni, the film features Archana Iyer and Swasika Vijay in key roles. Ahead of its release, the makers have planned paid premieres across the Telugu states.
The film has managed to draw attention as the team went all out for promotions. The first trailer was launched in October, following which the team toured several places to market the film. These efforts paid off, as Shambhala has generated good buzz. Advance bookings for the premiere shows are encouraging, and positive word of mouth from these early screenings could give the film an advantage in the crowded release season.
Produced by Rajasekhar Annabhimoju and Mahidhar Reddy under the Shining Pictures banner, the film also stars Harsha Vardhan, Ravi Varma, Madhunandan, and others in supporting roles.
