“Eesha’s Theatrical Experience Will Haunt Audiences for a Long Time,” Says Sri Vishnu

The pre-release promotions of the upcoming horror film Eesha took an unusual and spine-chilling turn with the “Eesha Haunted Night” event held in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Designed around a horror theme, the event itself created an atmosphere of fear and suspense, leaving attendees with the feeling of having already stepped into a horror film. The event was organised as part of the film’s pre-release celebrations ahead of its theatrical release on December 25.

Actor Sri Vishnu attended the event as the chief guest, where he launched the Big Ticket and signed a symbolic “viewer’s consent form,” adding to the unique promotional concept. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Vishnu said he personally enjoys watching horror films in theatres, especially with friends, as the collective fear enhances the experience. He remarked that the impact of a good horror film stays with audiences for a long time and expressed confidence that Eesha would deliver a similarly haunting theatrical experience. He also praised director Srinivas Manne for his novel storytelling approach and said the film would impress audiences with its fresh narrative and strong twists. Sri Vishnu further noted that the involvement of senior producer KL Damodar Prasad naturally raises expectations, while producers Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati are known for backing good content and encouraging new talent.

KL Damodar Prasad stated that he associates only with films that have solid content and believes Eesha stands strong on that front. He said that while making a good film is one challenge, taking it to audiences is another, and credited Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati for creating the right platform to reach viewers. Expressing confidence in the film’s appeal, he added that ticket prices have been kept affordable to encourage theatre audiences.

Producer Vamsi Nandipati described Sri Vishnu as a “lucky hand” and said the team was delighted by his presence at the event. He revealed that audiences would be required to symbolically sign a consent form before entering theatres, preparing themselves to be scared. He announced that the film will have special premieres from December 24 at a ticket price of ₹99 and promised that Eesha would not only frighten audiences but also deliver a meaningful message.

Bunny Vas echoed similar sentiments, saying the film gives viewers genuine goosebumps and continues to haunt them even after the show. He said horror lovers would thoroughly enjoy the experience, particularly the climax, which he described as shocking and terrifying. He expressed hope that the film would provide a strong breakthrough for everyone involved.

Lead actor Akhil Raj said he was eagerly waiting to watch Eesha in theatres despite being personally scared of horror films. Thanking the director and producers, he expressed confidence that audiences who supported his earlier film would also encourage this one. Actor Trigun said the film gave him an unexpected opportunity to reach this stage in his career and described the viewing experience as comparable to an international horror film.

Actors Hebba Patel, Siri Hanumanthu, producer Venkat, and others were also present at the event. Produced under the banners Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments, Bunny Vas Works, and HVR Productions, Eesha is set for a theatrical release on December 25 and is positioned as a horror film that promises to leave a lasting impact on audiences.
