The Raja Saab: Special care taken for the second half to impress North audiences

Maruthi is aggressively promoting his upcoming film The Raja Saab, headlined by Prabhas. The horror fantasy is scheduled to hit the big screens on January 9, 2026, during the Sankranthi season. The movie is confirmed to have paid premieres on January 8 in India. In an interview, Maruthi revealed that the first half is designed to amuse Telugu fans of Prabhas, while the second half will appeal more to North Indian audiences.
“Generally, North audiences like horror films, and we have taken the fantasy element to the next level. The first half is all about presenting the jovial side of Prabhas garu, which we have missed in recent times. From the pre-interval onwards, Hindi audiences will enjoy the film immensely. Sumith, who worked on the Bollywood blockbuster Stree, is working on the dialogues for the Hindi version,” said Maruthi.
He added, “It won’t look like a dubbed film at all, as we are taking extreme care with the dubbing. Sumith and his assistant have told me that the movie is pretty good. The Raja Saab will give the feel of a straight Hindi film for Hindi audiences.
