Karuppu: Latest buzz about the release window of Suriya’s film is here

Suriya’s recent theatrical releases disappointed audiences, and his next appearance will be in Karuppu. Actor-turned-director RJ Balaji has helmed this flick. The teaser received a solid response, and fans are eagerly waiting for the release date update. The movie was supposed to be out during Diwali 2025, but it got postponed due to extensive CG work.
According to the latest buzz in Kollywood circles, the movie will likely hit the big screens in February 2026. It is said that the makers also considered a Pongal release, but since two big films (Jana Nayagan and Parasakthi) were already slated for the festival, they dropped the plan. An official announcement is yet to be made.
Trisha plays the female lead. SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu are bankrolling the project under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner.
