The upcoming Telugu entertainer Hey Bhagavan is gearing up for its theatrical release on February 20, promising a blend of strong emotions and clean entertainment for family audiences. Produced by B. Narendra Reddy under the Trishul Visionary Studios banner and directed by Gopi Achara, the film is being presented by Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vas Works, the banners behind recent crowd-pleasers like Little Hearts, Raju Weds Rambai, and Eesha. With Suhas and Shivani Nagaram in the lead roles, and senior actor Naresh and anchor Sravanthi playing key characters, the film aims to strike a balance between laughter, emotion, and engaging storytelling.
Speaking to the media ahead of the release, producer B. Narendra Reddy said Hey Bhagavan stands out as a complete entertainer that connects emotionally with viewers. Originally from Proddatur in Kadapa district and currently based in Bengaluru, Narendra Reddy entered film production after working in construction and financing Kannada films. This marks his first Telugu production, and he expressed confidence that every rupee spent on the film is visible on screen, with high production values maintained throughout. He added that the father-son emotional thread in the film is one of its strongest highlights and is expected to touch the hearts of audiences across age groups.
The producer revealed that the project was finalized after he heard multiple stories, but this one impressed him instantly for its freshness and strong entertainment quotient. According to him, the film has been completed within budget and as per plan, with disciplined execution and careful monitoring of daily shoots. He believes the audience will feel the same excitement watching the film as he felt while listening to the narration, as the screenplay is designed to stay engaging from start to finish. He also hinted at unexpected twists in both the interval and climax, promising that the narrative will go beyond regular patterns and keep viewers guessing.
Narendra Reddy praised the performances of Suhas and Naresh, along with comedians Sudarshan and Vennela Kishore, stating that every character adds to the film’s entertainment value. He credited Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati for boosting his confidence in the film’s release strategy and reach, noting that their association has strengthened the project’s overall impact. The producer clarified that while he does not interfere in the creative process after approving the story, he closely tracks budgets, schedules, and execution to ensure quality output.
Looking ahead, Narendra Reddy confirmed his next project will be a friendship-based commercial entertainer with Satyadev in a new genre, directed by Lakshminarayana and featuring Faria Abdullah as the female lead. With Hey Bhagavan positioned as a feel-good Telugu movie that mixes emotion, comedy, and relatable relationships, the makers are optimistic about its reception among family and youth audiences when it hits theatres on February 20.
