Tollywood actress Pratyusha passed away on February 23rd, 2002 and her death created a sensation. Her alleged boyfriend Siddharth Reddy was named in the case and the investigation has been going on for years. After 24 years, the Supreme Court has reserved the verdict and it was announced today. In a sensational revelation, the Supreme Court has asked Siddharth Reddy to surrender within four weeks from today in the case and the Supreme Court supported the verdict of the High Court.
The High Court imposed two years jail for Siddharth Reddy in the case and he is out on bail. Pratyusha’s mother has been fighting for justice for years in the case. The initial investigation said that Pratyusha and Siddharth Reddy consumed pesticide and Siddharth survived while Pratyusha passed away. Siddharth Reddy was sentenced five years of imprisonment by the Sessions Court and the High Court reduced it to two years in 2011. He was fined Rs 50000. Pratyusha’s mother has approached the Supreme Court in 2012 and the investigation has been going on for years.
The actress made her debut with Mohan Babu’s Rayudu in 1998 and she went on to act in several Telugu and Tamil movies. At the age of 20 years, Pratyusha has seen stardom as an actress passed away. Her death created a sensation across the united Andhra Pradesh and the verdict is now finally out.
