The makers officially announced the change in release plans on Wednesday, stating that the decision was taken after carefully assessing the evolving situation in the Gulf region, which is considered a major market for the film’s global theatrical rollout.
Originally scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on March 19, 2026, the film was gearing up for an aggressive promotional campaign. However, production houses KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations decided to reschedule the release following advice from one of their major international distribution partners, Phars Films. The Gulf region plays a significant role in overseas collections for Indian films, and the current instability in the Middle East has reportedly disrupted cinema operations across several countries in the region.
According to the makers, the decision was not easy as the team had already finalized the promotional schedule for the film’s earlier release date. A grand trailer launch event was planned for March 8 in Bengaluru with media representatives from across India. Additionally, the film’s first single titled “Tabaahi” was ready for release on March 2. Despite everything being in place, the team chose to pause the promotional activities in light of the situation.

The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with the intention of reaching both domestic and international viewers.
