Vijay’s last film Jana Nayagan is packed with hurdles. The Censor officials referred the film to the Revising Committee but the screening for the film was pushed several times. The Revising Committee has pushed the screening for today but it was delayed due to undisclosed reasons. The officials did not watch the film and this clearly hints that there is no clarity about the film’s release date. If the screening for the Revision Committee was completed, the film’s release date would have arrived in a week.
With the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections scheduled now, there is no clarity about the clearance and the release of the film. Jana Nayagan is directed by H Vinoth and Pooja Hegde, Mamita Baiju, Bobby Deol will be seen in other important roles. The film is produced by KVN Productions. The film is made on an estimated budget of Rs 500 crores and the producers are now desperate to release the film soon.
