The makers of Dacoit have unveiled their second single “Chicchubuddi,” adding a vibrant twist to the film’s promotional campaign. Starring Adivi Sesh in the lead, the upcoming pan-India action-romantic thriller is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10, and the latest track is already creating strong buzz among audiences.
After setting a serious and emotional tone with the first single “Rubaroo,” the team has now switched gears completely with “Chicchubuddi.” The new song presents Adivi Sesh in a completely different avatar—energetic, lively, and dancing on screen for the first time in his career. This transformation adds a fresh layer to his character, which was earlier introduced as intense and emotionally wounded.
The song is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, who brings a high-energy party number packed with folk elements and catchy beats. The composition stands out for its mass appeal, blending rustic sounds with modern rhythm. Lyrics by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar further enhance the track with playful and youthful lines that perfectly match the song’s festive vibe.
Vocally, the song gets a dynamic boost from Ram Miriyala, Jonita Gandhi, and Pawan Singh. Jonita Gandhi not only delivers energetic vocals but also appears on screen, adding glamour with her stylish dance moves. Meanwhile, Pawan Singh’s special appearance brings a strong mass appeal, elevating the overall impact of the song.
Shot on a grand scale with colorful sets and energetic choreography, “Chicchubuddi” comes across as a full-fledged celebration. The visuals, combined with the upbeat music, indicate that Dacoit will offer more than just action and romance. The film appears to explore multiple emotional layers including love, betrayal, and intensity, now complemented by lively moments.
Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, with Suniel Narang as co-producer and presented by Annapurna Studios, the film stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead opposite Adivi Sesh. The project marks the directorial debut of Shaniel Deo. Cinematography is handled by Danush Bhaskar, while the background score is composed by Gyaani.
With “Chicchubuddi” adding a surprising and entertaining dimension, Dacoit is shaping up to be a complete package that blends action, emotion, and celebration—raising expectations ahead of its theatrical release.
