Actor Ajith Kumar is once again combining his passion for cinema and motorsport, as he is set to participate in the prestigious 24H Creventic Series endurance car race in Barcelona, Spain.
Ajith, who races with his newly-formed team, Ajith Kumar Racing, recently secured the pole position in the qualifying round for the event in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup category.
A dedicated racer, Ajith is one of the few Indian celebrities to compete in international racing circuits, having previously participated in the Formula 2 Championship and the Formula BMW Asia championship.
His return to racing this year has been a high-profile one, with his team also securing a podium finish (third place) and the ‘Spirit of the Race’ award in the 24H Dubai race earlier this year.
