Kalki 2898 AD Sequel: Viral Casting Buzz Shut Down Amid Ongoing Shoot 

Kalki 2898 AD emerged as one of the biggest cinematic spectacles of 2024, with Prabhas impressing in dual roles and the cliffhanger setting strong expectations for the sequel. Director Nag Ashwin is currently busy with the sequel shoot, which is progressing steadily. Amitabh Bachchan has already completed a schedule.
Amid this, a casting rumour recently went viral, claiming that JD Chakravarthy had joined the film’s sets. However, the actor has now dismissed the speculation during promotions of his upcoming film Gaayapadda Simham. He confirmed that he is not part of the sequel and did not participate in any schedule. He also reacted in a light manner, saying he appreciates the buzz but there is no truth to it.
The sequel is being mounted on a massive scale by Vyjayanthi Movies, with Kamal Haasan expected to have a more prominent role this time.
