A new poster from the upcoming film Agadha is creating strong buzz online, introducing debutante Jovika Vijay Kumar in a striking avatar. The visual has quickly grabbed attention for its intense mood and spiritual undertones, hinting at a story rooted in mystery and divine elements.
Set against a dimly lit, ancient backdrop, Jovika appears in a captivating look, with her expressive eyes reflecting both innocence and inner strength. The rain-soaked frame adds further depth, suggesting a character closely tied to the mystical core of the narrative.
The film also carries an emotional legacy. Years ago, filmmaker M. S. Raju introduced Jovika’s mother Vanitha Vijayakumar with Devi. Now, he presents the next generation, making this debut a rare cinematic continuation. Jovika is also the granddaughter of veteran actress Manjula, adding further significance to her entry into films.
Earlier posters from Agadha have already established its mystical tone. A divine-themed poster of Mahadevi highlighted spiritual intensity, while Shravan Reddy as Simha appeared in a powerful frame holding a blazing torch, symbolizing a journey through darkness and unknown forces. Another poster featuring Ulka Gupta as Mahima also drew attention for its intense visual appeal.
Produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under Sri Adi Varaha Productions, Agadha is being mounted on a grand scale. With around 85 days of shoot, elaborate set work, and nearly 45 minutes of VFX, the film promises a visually rich cinematic experience. It is being made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, and is currently in post-production.
With a strong mix of legacy, scale, and mystical storytelling, Agadha is shaping up to be an intriguing multi-language release to watch out for.
