Hyderabad: The Balanagar police on Wednesday night raided a gambling den and caught five persons. The police seized Rs. 38,530 from them.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Balanagar Inspector, Narsimha Raju raided a house at Indiranagar IPL and caught five persons Kondal Rao, Laxminarayana, B Shiva, Venkat Ramana and Chinna Babu. All of them were playing three-card games and gambling, said the Balanagar police.
The police found Rs. 38,530 in cash during the raid. A case has been booked against them. Further investigation is underway.
