Young actor Chaitanya Rao is all set to star in a new film directed by sensible filmmaker Kranthi Madhav. The movie, titled Production No.5, is being made under the banners of Sreeyas Chitra and Purna Naidu Production. Purna Naidu and Srikanth V are producing the film.
Kranthi Madhav, known for meaningful movies like Onamalu, Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju and World Famous Lover, is back with a fresh romantic story. The film introduces Ira and Sakhi as heroines. Ira is making her Telugu debut, while Sakhi, who has acted in Bengali serials, is also stepping into Tollywood.
The movie was launched grandly with a traditional pooja ceremony on October 3rd, marking the occasion of Dussehra. Director Deva Katta clapped the first shot, KL Damodar Prasad switched on the camera, and Vara Mullapudi directed the first scene as a guest of honor.
Director Kranthi Madhav said this is his fifth film and his second with Chaitanya Rao. He added that this project is a “new-age love story planned on a grand scale.”
Hero Chaitanya Rao expressed happiness about doing back-to-back films with Kranthi Madhav, saying that the story impressed him instantly. He also wished his co-stars Ira and Sakhi all the best.
Producer Purna Naidu shared that he always wanted to work with Kranthi Madhav and is excited about finally making it happen.
Actress Ira said she is happy to debut in Telugu with this film, as she has always loved Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju.
With strong content, fresh pairing, and Kranthi Madhav’s sensible direction, Production No.5 promises to be a heart-touching love story.
