The Ogden School District confirmed that a juvenile suffered a gunshot wound near Ben Lomond High School this afternoon. A spokesperson said the individual arrived at the campus seeking assistance around 2:50 p.m., shortly after students had been released at 2:35 p.m. Authorities confirmed there was no ongoing threat to students or the wider community, emphasizing that public safety remains their priority.As a precaution, Highland Junior High placed the campus on a secure protocol while police verified the area’s safety. “Students were released to go home around 3:10 p.m. under the supervision of Ogden police,” the district spokesperson added.
