Hyderabad: In a joint operation, the EAGLE team and Narsingi Police arrested two drug peddlers on charges of smuggling cocaine and seized 107.4 grams of the contraband at Manchirevula on Thursday.
The arrested duo – S Ananth Kumar and P Veerababu had procured cocaine from a supplier in Mumbai identified as Karthikeya Shekar, who is currently absconding.
Ananth Kumar, a habitual cocaine user since 2017, reportedly sold the drug in Hyderabad with Veerababu’s assistance.
The Narsingi police are investigating.
