The upcoming Telugu film Mithra Mandali, starring Priyadarshi and Niharika NM, is set for a grand release on October 16. Directed by Vijayender, the movie is presented by Bunny Vas and produced by Kalyan Manthina, Bhanu Pratapa, and Dr. Vijeyender Reddy Theegala.
Producers Kalyan and Bhanu shared that Mithra Mandali is a complete entertainer from start to finish. “Bunny Vas is a close friend and has been with this story for a long time. When we heard it, we loved it instantly. It’s full of fun and freshness, so we decided to start our production journey with this film,” they said.
The producers praised director Vijayender, calling him talented and creative. “He worked earlier with directors like Anudeep and Kalyan Shankar. He came with a full script, and the way he executed it is brilliant. It doesn’t feel like a debut film,” they said.
They also mentioned their creative involvement: “We started a writers’ room long ago, and stories like Aay and Thandel were born there. We stay involved in the script until it reaches perfection.”
Talking about Brahmanandam’s role, they said his scenes and the “Jambar Gimbar Lala” song became a highlight. “That song was not planned originally, but later we felt the film needed more fun. So, we added it, and it became a treat to watch.”
About the lead actors, they said, “The story takes place in a fictional town called Jangli Pattanam. Priyadarshi and Niharika fit their roles perfectly. Niharika’s witty character adds a satirical flavor, and Allu Aravind garu immediately approved her for the part.”
Despite Diwali competition, the makers are confident. “Festivals bring many releases, but audiences always support good content. Mithra Mandali will surely stand out as a fun and family entertainer,” they added.
The producers also revealed that their next project will be a horror film, promising more strong and content-driven stories ahead.
