Hyderabad: Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, hosted the graduation ceremony for the students of the Undergraduate Batch 2019 and Postgraduate Batch 2021 on Saturday.
Dr B S Murty, Director, IIT Hyderabad, and Dr PV Nanda Kumar Reddy, Vice Chancellor, KNRUHS, conferred the MBBS and MD/MS degrees at the ceremony attended by the parents and families of the students. Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, and Dean Dr K Manohar also participated.
In his address, Dr Murty said India has always been celebrated for its spirit of service. He added that the true mark of a developed nation would be when ‘Made in India’ products find a place in every corner of the world.
Dr Sangita Reddy said, “With the power of technology, we are moving from observing symptoms to interpreting signals — signals drawn from ECGs, wearable devices, and continuous monitoring systems, all intelligently processed through AI.”
One hundred undergraduates and 34 postgraduates received their degrees on the occasion. Since its inception in 2012, over 700 students have graduated from Apollo Medical College, Hyderabad.
