Hyderabad: The notification for the Jubilee Hills assembly by-election is set to be released on Monday.
The District Election Officer, Hyderabad, RV Karnan, is scheduled to release the gazette notification for the by-election on Monday and nominations will be accepted starting the same day.
According to the officials, all arrangements were completed at the Returning Officer’s office set up at the Shaikpet Tahsildar’s office. Karnan had already visited the Returning Officer’s office and reviewed the preparedness with the RO and AROs.
Expenditure observer appointed:
Meanwhile, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has appointed Sanjiv Kumar Lal as the Expenditure Observer for the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency by-election to oversee and monitor the election expenditure, ensuring strict compliance with ECI guidelines and to maintain transparency and curb the influence of money power in the electoral process.

October 13: Issue of ECI’s gazette notification, acceptance of nominations
October 21: Last date for acceptance of nominations
October 22: Scrutiny of nominations
October 24: Withdrawal of candidature
November 11: Date of polling
November 14: Date of counting
November 16: Completion of by-election process
