Cinematographer Shaik Hazarathaiah Praises Director Aryan Subhash’s Vision in “Constable”

Cinematographer Shaik Hazarathaiah (Vali), who has over 25 years of experience and worked on 78 films, is receiving praise for his work in Constable. The movie, directed by Aryan Subhash and produced by Balagam Jagadish, stars Varun Sandesh and Madhulika Varanasi. Since its release, the film has been getting positive reviews from both audiences and industry experts.
Speaking to the media, Hazarathaiah shared his journey and experience. “I’m from Makkenavaripalem village in Nellore district. I entered the film industry with the support of Executive Manager Narayana, who gave me my first opportunity. Over the years, I’ve worked on many hit films in eight languages and even received awards for my cinematography in Hindi and Marathi movies,” he said.
He has worked in the camera departments of several popular films like Arundhati, Annavaram, Ek Niranjan, and Ragada. “I have been a fan of Chiranjeevi garu since childhood. Later, while working on Annavaram, I met Pawan Kalyan garu. His dedication inspired me a lot,” he added.
Hazarathaiah recalled how Constable began. “Producer Balagam Jagadish once told me he would make a film with me. When he heard the story of Constable, he sent it to me. After hearing Aryan Subhash’s narration, I immediately said yes. The story was excellent,” he said.
He also praised actor Varun Sandesh for his down-to-earth nature. “Varun was very cooperative and treated everyone like family. Even after getting injured during the shoot, he continued working,” he shared.
Talking about the director, he said, “Aryan Subhash reminds me of great filmmakers like Rajamouli and Sukumar. He personally enacts scenes for the actors to help them understand better. Both the director and producer worked very hard. The producer was always on set, taking care of every detail.”
After the release of Constable, Hazarathaiah received appreciation calls from many in the industry. “People were surprised that we achieved such quality in just 30 days. A top production banner even contacted me for future collaborations,” he said happily.
Currently, Hazarathaiah is working on Andhra King Thaluka directed by Ram Bheeman, starring Ram Pothineni. He will also begin another project produced by Shiva Prasad by the end of this month.
