Taco Bell New Menu Items: Fan-Favourite Crispy Chicken And Spicy Diablo Options Return To 2025 Lineup

Taco Bell is embracing fan feedback and taking its crispy chicken offerings to the next level with a fiery twist. Beginning October 16, the chain will debut three new items built around a brand-new sauce collaboration with Frank’s RedHot, the brand behind America’s most iconic Buffalo flavour.The new Frank’s RedHot Diablo Sauce blends Taco Bell’s own smoky Diablo sauce, Frank’s cayenne kick, and the chain’s Spicy Ranch, creating a creamy, tangy heat described by the company as “Buffalo meets bold.” The sauce will headline three new dishes, the Frank’s RedHot Diablo Crispy Chicken Burrito, Crispy Chicken Soft Taco, and Chicken Nacho Fries, all available nationwide for a limited time.According to Taco Bell, the release marks the next evolution in its Crispy Chicken concept, which began with viral hits like the Crispy Chicken Nuggets and Crispy Chicken Strips earlier this year. Those items sold out quickly, prompting Taco Bell to promise a permanent chicken option in 2026. Until then, the brand is experimenting with bold sauces and fan-inspired combinations.Three Fan-Focused Items, One Fiery CollaborationThe Frank’s RedHot Diablo Crispy Chicken Burrito features a marinated chicken tender coated in tortilla chips and breadcrumbs, topped with shredded lettuce, purple cabbage, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, and either the new Frank’s Diablo sauce or Avocado Ranch, all wrapped in a warm tortilla.The Soft Taco version includes the same ingredients in a smaller, hand-held form, while the Frank’s RedHot Diablo Chicken Nacho Fries load Taco Bell’s seasoned fries with slow-roasted chicken, nacho cheese, pico de gallo, and a drizzle of the new sauce. Customers can also request the sauce as a dipping side for the Crispy Chicken Strips, which remain on menus in select markets.A Taco Bell spokesperson said the limited-time menu “celebrates fan passion and gives customers the Buffalo heat they’ve been asking for.” While these spicy new options are temporary, the company confirmed its long-term goal of making Crispy Chicken a permanent category on its menu by next year.
