Akshay Kumar Takes the Stage

nCore Group and Dot9 Games mentor Shri Akshay Kumar was in attendance and delivered an address to the players that captured the spirit of the moment. Speaking alone on stage at Smaaash, Kumar held up a phone running FAU-G Domination and spoke directly to the players and the community watching online. Select quotes to be attributed to him as follows:

  • “This is not just a tournament. This is a beginning. India’s own first multiplayer action game. Made in India. These three companies may have built the game, but you, the players, are the ones who made it run. Every piece of feedback, every update, happened because of you. This is the time when India does not just play games. India BUILDS them.”
  • “FAU-G is not just a game. It is a movement. When you download this game, a part of every download goes to Bharat Ke Veer, to the families of our armed forces heroes. This is our game. Our stage. Our champions.”

FAU-G Bharat League 2.0 aka FBL 2.0 x  Interio By Godrej Collab

In a show of strength for the Indian esports ecosystem at large, Interio by Godrej, a leading furniture brand from Godrej Enterprises Group, collaborated with Dot9 Games. As part of the collaboration, Interio by Godrej showcased its ergonomic gaming chair, designed to support long hours of gameplay with a focus on posture, comfort, and overall wellbeing, giving players a first-hand experience during high-intensity tournament play. The product reflects the brand’s approach to creating solutions that align with evolving lifestyle needs, particularly for a new generation of gamers.

“India’s gaming community has evolved rapidly, with players investing considerable time, skill, and resources into their setups,” says Reshu Saraf, Head of Marketing Communications at Interio by Godrej. “At Interio by Godrej, this has pushed us to rethink how furniture can support these evolving needs, bringing together design, ergonomics, and performance in a way that enhances the overall gaming experience. Through our collaboration with Dot9 Games, we aimed to engage directly with the gaming community and showcase solutions that are built for long hours of play, without compromising on comfort.”

“Esports in India has long been dominated by established teams and pro players, not any more and FBL 2.0 is proof of that,” says Vishal Gondal, Founder and Chairman, nCore Games. “With FBL 2.0 the power is back to the players with grassroots participation at national-level competition.”

“Community feedback has shaped FAU-G: Domination from the beginning,” says Kaval Bombra, President, nCore Games. “FBL 2.0 is the pinnacle of this, merging player aspirations with upskilling. We can’t wait to share what’s next.”

“When we set out the build FAU-G: Domination we never expected a player from Assam to make the trip to Mumbai to win” says Deepak Ail, CEO and co-founder of FAU-G: Domination developer Dot9 Games. “We’re grateful for our community that’s resonated with our game, and we hope FBL continues to be the competitive playground to make their dreams come true.”

“While esports events are largely known for their prize pools, none of them offer upskilling opportunities,” says Akshay Chaturvedi, Founder and CEO, Leverage. “That’s the distinct advantage of FBL 2.0, and something that was unanimously praised by the league’s players. We’re delighted with our association with FAU-G: Domination to help India’s brightest dream and upskill better.”

What Next for FAU-G: Domination

Clans are coming to FAU-G: Domination, the next major feature update, allowing players to form squads, build identities, and compete in clan wars. A comprehensive esports roadmap is on the way as well. Stay tuned for those details soon.
