Kollywood actor Suriya is currently busy shooting for his new film directed by Venky Atluri. His other film, Karuppu, has already wrapped up shooting and is now in post-production. Trisha plays the female lead, with RJ Balaji directing the project.
Latest speculations suggest that Karuppu might hit the big screens on April 10. However, here comes the twist. The makers of Dhanush’s new film Kara are also said to be eyeing the same release date to cash in on the summer season.
Though there is no official confirmation yet, the buzz has gone viral, with fans of both stars already indulging in online battles. While Karuppu is a rural mass actioner, Kara is an emotionally charged suspense thriller directed by Por Thozhil fame Vignesh Raja.
