Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to open in cinemas, with paid previews scheduled for Wednesday. Advance bookings for the previews are hitting new highs, and the film is expected to open north of Rs. 200 crores gross worldwide.
The film’s censor certificate has now been issued, and as expected, the sequel has received an “A” (Adults Only) rating. The CBFC-approved runtime is 229 minutes (3 hours and 49 minutes), which is slightly shorter than the initially listed duration of 3 hours and 55 minutes on ticketing platforms. It seems like a scene or two has been omitted from the final cut.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 also stars Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and Danish Pandor in key roles. The project is produced by Jio Studios in association with Aditya Dhar’s B62 Studios, with music composed by Shaswat Sachdev.
