Director locked for Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan Film

Two legendary actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have decided to work together after decades. Kamal Haasan also came on board to bankroll the project. Initially, Lokesh Kanagaraj was on board to direct the film and the talented director also worked on the script. After a couple of months, the plans were changed. Lokesh Kanagaraj is out of the project due to undisclosed reasons and several names were considered. The latest update coming from the project says that Nelson Dilipkumar has been finalized for the film.
Nelson is currently directing Jailer 2 featuring Rajinikanth in the lead role. Nelson will now direct the multi-starrer featuring Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. The script of the film has been locked and Nelson will kick-start the pre-production work after he completes his part for Jailer 2. But the filming will not commence anytime soon because of the commitments of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Nelson also has a Telugu film lined up with NTR and the shoot of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan multi-starrer will start after Nelson completes NTR’s film.
