In the aftermath of the Asia Cup final, the BCCI has decided to lodge a complaint with the ICC. Salman Ali Agha has indirectly hinted that Suryakumar Kumar is just a pawn in the BCCI’s game. Prize money details for the Asia Cup winners are out. A former Pakistan wicketkeeper wants the PCB to boycott India. Suryakumar has commented on his poor form. Lastly, another player has been ruled out of the India vs West Indies series due to injury.

Devajit Saikia, Naqvi responds
BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia has confirmed that the BCCI will be launching an official complaint with the ICC regarding the conduct of ACC Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. After the Indian team refused to accept the Asia Cup trophy from him, Naqvi left with the trophy instead of allowing someone else to hand it to Team India.

Salman Agha
After losing the Asia Cup final, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha revealed that India captain Suryakumar Yadav got instructions from above to not shake hands with him. Agha added that Suryakumar and he shook hands in private before, but the Indian captain wasn’t allowed to do it in public.

Never play India
Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal has advised PCB to boycott India in future tournaments. Miffed with the Asia Cup debacle, he thinks the whole matter should be investigated by the cricket boards of Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand since ICC can’t be trusted because it’s run by Jay Shah.
