Hyderabad: A 19-year-old engineering student died by suicide in his college hostel in Petbasheerabad on Thursday.
The student, Leela Naga Vinay Durga, a native of Andhra Pradesh, was studying BTech first-year in a private engineering college and was staying at a college hostel.
He died by suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan in the hostel room. He was found dead by the hostel staff, who alerted the hostel authorities and the police.
The Petbasheerabad police are investigating.The reason for the suicide is not known yet.
