‘Google My Friend’ Songs Out

The makers of Google My Friend have officially launched the songs of the film in a grand event held in the presence of members of the Telugu Directors Association, adding fresh buzz around the upcoming movie. Starring Pranav Rao Rani and Prajakta Gaikwad in the lead roles, the film is gearing up for a grand theatrical release in Telugu and Marathi soon.
Produced by Divakar Reddy under the Dollars Media and Entertainment banner, Google My Friend is directed by Govind Varaha, who is known for making films in multiple languages. The film is being positioned as a bilingual release and is expected to reach audiences in both Telugu and Marathi markets. T. Venkatesh Reddy and B. Prasannanjaneyulu are serving as co-producers for the project.
The songs launch event turned into a memorable occasion with several noted filmmakers attending and extending their support to the team. The audio launch was carried out in the presence of Telugu Directors Association president V.N. Aditya, along with directors Sai Rajesh, V. Samudra, Shailesh Kolanu, and Konda Vijay Kumar. Their participation gave the event added significance and reflected the goodwill the project has earned within the film industry.
Speaking at the event, director Sai Rajesh said that he and the other members of the Directors Association had watched the songs, teaser and other promotional content from Google My Friend, and found it highly promising. He appreciated director Govind Varaha for simultaneously making the film in Telugu and Marathi and expressed hope that the movie would get a strong release and bring both financial success to the producer and recognition to the director.
Director V.N. Aditya also praised the film and director Govind Varaha, calling him a filmmaker with experience in handling projects across different languages. He said Google My Friend is being made with good intent and wished for the film to become a major success. He also hoped that Govind Varaha would go on to direct more pan-India films in the future. He extended his best wishes to the entire cast and crew of the movie.
Director V. Samudra shared his happiness over his friend Govind Varaha making a multilingual project like Google My Friend. He said it was a proud moment for the film’s songs to be launched in the presence of Directors Association members and added that the team had the blessings and support of the industry. He wished the film and its director success in every language it is released in.
Director Konda Vijay Kumar compared Govind Varaha’s multilingual filmmaking vision to that of legendary producer D. Ramanaidu, who was known for producing films in various Indian languages. He said Govind Varaha is steadily making films in Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi and other languages, and hoped Google My Friend would achieve success in every region where it is released.
Director Govind Varaha, speaking emotionally at the event, said that Google My Friend is a very special project in his career. He recalled his earlier Telugu films such as Bala, Nenu Nanna Abaddham, and Manushulatho Jagratha, and also mentioned his work in Malayalam and Marathi cinema. He said he feels fortunate to launch the songs of Google My Friend in the presence of what he described as his “film family” from the Telugu Directors Association.
Govind Varaha said there was a point when he wondered if he was moving too far away from the Telugu film industry while working in other language films, but Google My Friend gave him a chance to reconnect with Telugu cinema in a meaningful way. He promised that he would continue making more Telugu films going forward. He also thanked his producers for their trust and support, saying that their encouragement is helping him stay active as a filmmaker. He further expressed gratitude to well-known producers A.M. Rathnam, K.K. Radhamohan, and Chittoori Srinivas for supporting him during his journey.
Along with lead actors Pranav Rao Rani and Prajakta Gaikwad, the film also features Siya Revadkar, Ashwini Kulkarni, Madhav Abhyankar, C. Divakar Reddy and others in important roles. The technical team includes Nani as art director, Mayur as choreographer, Venkat Suri as production manager, Shiva Sarvani as editor, Karthik for background score, and Kishan Sagar handling cinematography. The film’s songs are composed by S. Sagar, Karthik, and Lyric Johnson, while the lyrics have been penned by Govind Varaha himself. Srinu Addala is the executive producer.
With the songs now officially launched and promotional activity beginning to pick up pace, Google My Friend is aiming to attract attention as a youthful and emotionally engaging bilingual film. The makers are expected to announce the theatrical release date soon, and the film is already building curiosity among audiences in both Telugu and Marathi cinema circles.
