HMDA Cracks Down on Illegal Construction in LB Nagar Zone

In a move to address the proliferation of illegal construction in Hyderabad, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has sealed six unauthorized multi-story buildings in the LB Nagar zone.

Four of the sealed buildings were four-story structures, while the remaining two were two-story. Two of the buildings were nearing completion.

To clearly mark the sealed premises, the HMDA placed banners on each building stating that they were sealed under Section 461(A) of the GHMC Act 1995.

The sealed buildings are located in Sagar complex, BN Reddy complex, Sripuram colony, and Sachivalaya nagar.

The HMDA has reiterated its commitment to enforcing urban planning regulations and preventing illegal construction in the city.
