HYDRAA authorities carried out a demolition drive on Thursday, targeting multiple structures within Prakruthi Resorts in Thumkunta Municipality, Medchal-Malkajgiri district, for encroaching on Komati Kunta Lake in Devaryamjal village. Officials removed several illegally constructed buildings that had encroached upon the lake’s full tank level and buffer zones. According to HYDRAA officials, the demolition included a fully constructed G+3 building, another nearly completed structure, three under-construction buildings, a gazebo, and compound walls. These structures were part of Prakruthi Resorts and its convention area.
