Bigg Boss Telugu fame Sri Satya has once again grabbed attention with her honest and unconventional views on life, love, and motherhood. Known to television audiences through popular serials and reality shows like Bigg Boss and BB Jodi, the actress recently shared several personal revelations during a podcast interaction, which are now creating a buzz on social media.
Sri Satya revealed that her journey into the entertainment industry began at a very young age and was inspired by actor Ram Pothineni. She said that she was deeply impressed by the fact that Ram entered the film industry at just 17 years of age. Motivated by this, she decided to stop her studies after intermediate and pursue a career in acting. When she informed her family about this decision, her mother was upset and even stopped speaking to her for some time, while her father stood by her and encouraged her to follow her dreams.
She recalled that her father motivated her to participate in the Miss Vijayawada competition after seeing a television scrolling about the event. Despite being nervous among nearly 300 contestants, Sri Satya went on to win the title. She said that her confidence and answers impressed the judges, with actor Shivaji being the chief guest at the event. That victory became a major turning point in her life and opened doors for her in the television industry.
During the podcast, Sri Satya also spoke openly about her views on marriage and motherhood. She made it clear that while she has a strong desire to become a mother, she does not believe marriage is necessary for that. She said she would prefer adopting a girl child in the future if she reaches a stable position in life. According to her, there are many children around who need love and care, and motherhood is about responsibility and affection, not just biological ties. She also mentioned that she does not wish to adopt a boy child, stating honestly that she feels she may not be able to handle that responsibility.
Sri Satya shared her deep emotional bond with children, especially with Dhanvi, the daughter of actress Anjali, and her own niece, whom she helped raise. She said that the love she received from the child changed her emotionally and made her more affectionate and caring in return.
The actress also spoke about her spiritual journey, revealing that a near-death accident made her turn deeply towards faith. After surviving the incident, she decided to wear the Shiva Mala and later the Bhairava Mala with complete devotion. Responding to questions about societal opinions, she said her faith is personal and driven by belief, not by gender-based notions.
