India’s Tanvi Sharma settles for silver at Badminton World Junior C’ships

Indian shuttler Tanvi Sharma secured a silver medal at the BWF World Junior Championships. She lost to Thailand’s Anyapat Phichitpreechasak in the women’s singles final. Tanvi became the third Indian female shuttler to reach the tournament final. She secured India’s first silver medal in 17 years.
