India women went on to secure two straight wins, as they secured a 59-run victory against Sri Lanka Women and a stunning 88-run victory against Pakistan.
Meanwhile, South Africa secured a 10-wicket defeat against England, but secured a 6-wicket victory against New Zealand.
India Women comfortably secured a spot at the top, while South Africa is in fifth position on the Women’s ODI points table 2025.
India Women and South Africa Women has met on 33 occasions where the women in Blues secured 20 wins while Proteas Women secured 12 wins.

The wet outfield delayed the toss at Vishakapatnam. However, no overs are lost and cricket fans cans expect a full game.
South Africa Won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, Laura Wolvaardt said, “We are gonna have a bowl first. Looks like a very nice wicket. Should be pretty high-scoring. Very happy with how we played in the last game. She (Brits) has been amazing, long may the form continue.”
Meanwhile Harmanpreet Kaur said, ” Looking at the conditions, bowling. Hopefully we’ll put a decent total. Amanjot is back in place of Renuka. We need to keep showing improvament. First two games, we wanted to win and we did that. We want to keep doing the good things.”
