Kishkindhapuri Brings Thrills and Chills – Streaming from October 17

ZEE5, India’s top homegrown OTT platform, is ready to premiere Kishkindhapuri on October 17 at 6 PM. Directed by Koushik Pegallapati and produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, the film stars Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Anupama Parameswaran, Makarand Deshpande, and Tanikella Bharani in key roles.
Set in an old, abandoned radio station, Kishkindhapuri tells the story of a group of people who visit the place on a ghost tour. Their curiosity soon turns into horror when they accidentally awaken a restless spirit. What begins as fun soon becomes a nightmare, as they find themselves trapped inside with no escape.
Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas said this was one of his toughest roles. “Horror films are challenging because you react to things you can’t actually see. The fear, the dark setting, and the mood were intense even off-camera. This film will surely keep the audience on edge,” he shared.
Anupama Parameswaran said she loved the realistic touch in the film. “My character is very human—she feels fear, confusion, and strength at the same time. Shooting in those scary locations helped us stay in character. The story is not just about ghosts, but about how people deal with fear,” she added.
With powerful performances, strong visuals, and nonstop suspense, Kishkindhapuri promises a thrilling experience for horror fans.
