Lokesh Kanagaraj finally responds about Kaithi 2

Lokesh Kanagaraj emerged as a top director after the release of Kaithi. He went on to direct top stars like Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth and Vijay. The sequel for Kaithi 2 was announced but the project got delayed because of the priorities of Lokesh Kanagaraj. The talented director has announced his next film with Allu Arjun and the shoot commences very soon. After the announcement of this film, Tamil media has speculated that Kaithi 2 is shelved. During an interaction, Karthi was questioned about the sequel and he wanted Lokesh Kanagaraj to talk about the project.
Lokesh Kanagaraj finally responded about the sequel of Kaithi . He said that he would direct Kaithi 2 after he completes Allu Arjun’s film. Kaithi 2 will start rolling next year and he said that he requested the producers to delay the film because of his commitments. Lokesh Kanagaraj also said that he worked on a project featuring Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth for a year and a half. But the project did not happen. Lokesh Kanagaraj also confirmed that he will be seen in a cameo in Vijay’s upcoming release Jana Nayagan.
