Hyderabad: A 32-year-old man, identified as Rajasekhar from Begumpet, reportedly died after being struck by a speeding train near Sanjeevaiah Park station on Wednesday.
Police said Rajasekhar had been grieving the recent death of his wife on October 12 and had reportedly been consuming alcohol. He is suspected to have crossed the railway tracks in an inebriated condition when he was hit by an unidentified train.
He suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot. The Government Railway Police are investigating.
