Hyderabad: A man was set ablaze by his friend at Balapur on Wednesday following a quarrel between them over consuming liquor.
According to the police, the two friends, Abdul and Jahangir, went to a secluded place at Balapur and were consuming liquor. An argument ensued between them when they were having liquor. In a fit of rage, Jahangir took out a bottle of fuel he was carrying and doused Abdul with it. He then set him on fire.
On hearing his cries for help, passersby rushed to the spot and put off the fire. Abdul was rushed to hospital by the police. A case was registered.
