Matka King OTT Release: Vijay Varma’s Crime Series Now Streaming on Amazon Prime Video

Matka King was announced by Amazon in June 2024 as part of its Prime Video slate, with Vijay Varma leading the series. After nearly two years of focused production to recreate 1960s Bombay with precision, the crime series finally premiered today on Amazon Prime Video.
Rooted in Hindi for authenticity, the show expands its reach in multiple languages including Telugu and Tamil, along with several international subtitle options, opening it up to a wider global audience.
At its core, the story follows Brij Bhatti, a modest cotton trader whose rise in the Matka gambling network turns him into a powerful force, reflecting ambition, risk, and the cost of power in an underground world.
The 8-episode series also features Sai Tamhankar, Gulshan Grover, Kritika Kamra, and Siddharth Jadhav in key roles.
