MS Raju’s ‘Agadha’ Sparks Curiosity with Mystical First Look

Veteran filmmaker M. S. Raju is gearing up for a unique cinematic experience with his upcoming pan-India project Agadha. Known for delivering trendsetting films under the Sumanth Arts banner, Raju is now stepping into the mystical thriller space with a story designed to offer something fresh to audiences.

The film, being made in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, has already completed its shoot and is currently in post-production. Produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under Sri Adi Varaha Productions, Agadha is positioned as a large-scale mystical divine thriller.

The makers recently kickstarted promotions with an unconventional video that grabbed attention. The promo features two thieves entering MS Raju’s office, only to be distracted by posters of his earlier films. As they browse through memories, they stumble upon a mysterious poster that leaves them visibly shaken — eventually revealed to be Agadha.

The newly released poster adds to the intrigue. It showcases a dark cave setting illuminated by faint torchlight, creating an eerie atmosphere. At the center stands a massive idol with a mystical face and twelve hands, while a girl stands before it, turned away, dressed in a strikingly unusual costume. The visuals hint at a story rooted in mystery, spirituality, and suspense.

Speaking about the project, MS Raju revealed that the film was shot over 85 days across multiple locations and sets. With nearly 45 minutes of VFX planned, the film promises a visually rich experience. The cast details are yet to be announced, further building anticipation.

With its unique theme, scale, and intriguing promotional strategy, Agadha is shaping up to be one of the most awaited experimental thrillers in the coming months.
