Ramayana Movie Teaser
The highly anticipated cinematic adaptation of Ramayana has officially unveiled its first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios alongside Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, this two-part epic promises to be a global event. The newly released teaser introduces audiences to Rama, portraying him as the ultimate symbol of duty, dignity, and compassion.
This ambitious project brings together a monumental cast. Ranbir Kapoor takes on the role of Rama, while superstar Yash steps into the formidable role of the demon king Ravana. The ensemble also features Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshmana.
Ranbir Kapoor as Rama looks divinity personified and his performance is exceptional. Each frame is filled with divine energy, meticulous ambition, attention to detail to bring Sage Valmiki’s epic to life on big screens. The shots of Rama looking at Ayodhya, preparing for battle, his epic confrontations of demons during exile, his powerful emotional connect with Dasaradha, Ayodhya people and frames of his exile with Sita and Lakshmana are exemplery.
While DNEG delivered a terrific vision, the Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman have excelled in composing apt BGM that elevates the epic. Designed for IMAX, the live-action epic aims to bring ancient India to life on an unprecedented scale. The visually grand and technically briliant retelling of this timeless story will hit big screen globally, during Diwali 2026. The second part is already in production and is scheduled for a Diwali 2027 release.
