Officials warned of moderate to major coastal flooding, inland flash floods, sustained winds reaching up to 60 mph, heavy rainfall of up to five inches, and the potential for beach erosion and dune breaching.Executive order no 399 allows the state’s emergency services personnel to take necessary actions to respond to the storm. Lt Gov Way urged residents to exercise caution, stay updated with local weather reports, follow evacuation protocols if necessary, and avoid traveling unless absolutely required.Precautions And Event CancellationsIn preparation for the storm, events across the Jersey Shore have been canceled. Residents are advised to secure their homes, avoid coastal areas, and remain indoors during peak storm conditions.
