Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor recently came up with the romantic comedy entertainer Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Shashank Khaitan, known for Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Dhadak, directed this flick. The movie locked horns with Rishab Shetty’s much-hyped Kantara: Chapter 1 at the box office.
The Varun Dhawan starrer received mixed reviews from critics, and commercially, the movie didn’t meet expectations. According to recent media reports, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is expected to have its digital premiere on November 27. Netflix holds the post-theatrical streaming rights. An official confirmation is awaited.
Set against the backdrop of a grand Indian wedding, the rom-com also features Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf in lead roles. Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, and Abhinav Sharma essayed supporting roles.
